"The Art of Getting By" Movie (Soundtrack List)

Film indie ini cukup menarik, bercerita tentang seorang siswa yang introvert, malas mengerjakan tugas, sehingga sering mendapatkan teguran dari guru maupun kepala sekolahnya (Ouch, that was so me teens). Diperankan oleh Freddie Highmore (the august rush) dan Emma Roberts. Pada awalnya, film ini ditayangkan dengan judul Homework pada Sundance Film Festival 2011 (FYI,Sundance film festival merupakan suatu festival film bergengsi di AS).

Anyway, besides the story that shows the life of a misanthrope-cute-slacker, I also really enjoy the music. We can say that too much indie here. The soundtrack list below are so d*mn cool.

Dengan didukung musik yang bagus, ni film menjadi tidak hanya sekedar film anak remaja sekolahan pada umumnya yang biasa saja (even the tweens can enjoy this movie,lol). Dari 12 lagu di atas, yang paling aku suka tentu karyanya Alec Puro, but the others, such as French Kicks and Pavement, are still cool anyway. Selamat menonton, selamat menikmati musiknya.

Saatnya weekend lagi sodara-sodara....yuhuu...
Bagi yang merasa bingung mau ber-weekend-ria atau lebih tepatnya bersabtumalam (seems that I avoid using the term 'malamminggu',,you know why lah yaa,,haha..),, bagi yang domisili di jogja atau sekedar mumpung mampir weekend di Jogja, ini ada beberapa events yg lumayan bisa disimak.

Daftar pilihan acara berikut sebenarnya agenda ngasal yg sempet mampir ditelingaku, kemudian menjadi bahan pertimbanganku dan rekan sejawat untuk dolan-dolan (ouwwhh..my life sounds so wonderful ya,,everyday is sunday, tiap saat dolan mulu. Hmmm...org lain liatnya sih cuma 'wang sinawang',, kalo prinsip saya,yg perlu dibagi disini yg moment atau pngalaman seneng aja,itu lebih baik drpd keliatan menye2 dan stress terus, hoho..itung2 menebarkan aura positif, life is so wonderfull,isn't it?)

The top list event is the most I want to visit. Hahaa..pasti berbau gratisan dan something unusual nih. Yap,,denger iklannya acara ini aja pas di radio Geronimo. Yang ngiklanin british bget aksennya,,semacam Keira knightley lah,,haha.

2.Yang Manis dari Masa Lalu
There's always something sweet from the box sealed tightly years ago,,haha..terkesan memaksakan interpretasiku.
Acara ini tentang foods and beverages yg ditawarkan oleh Walls,terkait produk es dung dung nya (Aku sih tau acara ini denger dari si wulwul,,yaa..es krim mania gtu lahh...). Beberapa promo yg udah terlaksana di kota lain terlihat sangat menarik sih. Nhah untuk di Jogja, tepatnya di Galeria Mall, baru akan ada besok Sabtu. 3.Books For Children

4.Final WNBL (Women’s National Basketball League) @GOR UNY
Gak begitu ngeh sih tentang basket. Berhubung kemaren si mamed nanyain, terlintas juga sih pengen nnton. Sebelumnya juga udah diajakin sama temen,tp kemaren2 masih belum selo. Bagi penggemar basket, it must be a great event u dont wanna miss. Final NBWL (28 april) dan NBL (29 April) ini juga bakal dihadiri dua tamu istimewa legenda liga paling bergengsi di dunia, NBA dan WNBA, yaitu Rick Mahorn dan Edna Campbell (sound so strange for me). Berhubung aku gak begitu tau bnyak, u can check this site for further info.

Sudah lumayan lama sih ni lagu aku play terus dan ngendon di playlistku. Mungkin karena beberapa hari ini di Jogja hujan mulu, jadi semacam pas ni lagu di puter,,ahee...you make me feel like summer (winter slowly turns into summer, then summer turns into drought??,,haduww dehidrasi..)

Meskipun udah agak lama terbentuk, tapi ya sekedar info, band ini terbentuk sejak tahun 2005 di Canada. Mereka itu mahasiswa yang berasal dari Indonesia yang sedang kuliah di Vancouver, Canada (merasa satu indonesia, bergabung dalam satu band dan pastinya gak asal-asalan lah musiknya). They are,

Kemudian tahun 2010 setelah menyelesaikan kuliahnya,mereka kembali ke jakarta dan tetep concern dalam bermusik di bawah naungan sinjitos records. If you're pop-electonica-indie music listeners, RFS is very recommended for you. I think the band deserves to get more popularity than now, as they said, "success to us is when we get to perform a live gig EVERY SINGLE DAY” (quoted from nylon interview)<<<< sambil berharap mereka tampil di Jogja. interconnection #1

The title above is related to an indie music concert which will be held this weekend in Jogja. And guess who will rawk the stage??!!

Yap,,"Bangkutaman" merupakan salah satu penampil yg paling ditunggu. Secara aq juga pengen nonton,,huhuhu......tapi...(kenapa selalu ada tapi??,,ngook)

Selain Bangkutaman, 2 band indie lainnya yaitu "Leonardo" and "L’alphalpha" juga bakal tampil di tur Interconnection #1 di kota Jogja ini (21 januari 2012 @Purna Budaya UGM). Ada band indie Jogja juga yg bakal tampil yaitu "Answer Sheet" dan "Brilliant at Breakfast" (FYI, harga tiket 10rbu presale n 15rbu on d spot).
Sedangkan Interconnnection #2 akan berlangsung di solo 22 januari yang diisi oleh Leonardo, L’Alphalpha, Dried Cassava, The Leons Labyrinth, dan Sua.

Band yang udah gak asing di pendengaranku ya tentu saja Bangkutaman,,'catch me when I fall'-nya itu lhoo,,,nyentuh bget,,halah.
Moreover, the song (catch me when I fall) is the most fav song based on SEA INDIE version.
