projects of this month

I have been thinking to make a new blog which focuses on teaching and everything about children. I don't know why I wanna make that, but first, it's because I wanna have kinda a diary about my teaching activities at school, my interest in children's world, teaching media, and anything that is related to that wonderful world. Haaahhhhh...can't wait to make it. The second reason is because I have seen so many fab blogs about that by natives (ESL),,so why don't I make one which focus on teaching EFL?

However, I'm a little bit busy this week. so at least next month I have to make and launch that blog,,lol,,

And here we go,,besides the content, Im also thinking about the name of the blog, it should be a catchy brand,huh? Do you have any suggestions about that?

thanks for the sight (sekaten 2012 inside)

Seminggu di rumah ituuu....rasanya seperti...seperti 7 hari gak kemana-mana (halah podho wae). Apalagi kalo selama seminggu itu sakit mata,,waduww...rasanya dunia terlihat agak sedikit sempit karena penglihatan terhalang sedikit oleh yang namanya pembengkakan kelopak mata (some people called it 'timbil',,but I think my case might be different).

The point in my posting here is not about my last ill, nonetheless I feel more and more blessed given this perfect sight because maybe someone over there in another place cannot get his/her optimal sight. That's why this page is named "thanks for the sight",,sight of sekaten view and the real sight after having eyeache.

Dan tidak seperti sekaten tahun lalu yg dateng rame2 bersama teman-teman(see this), sekaten tahun ini dianter babe, dan ibu, mbak, bulik, dan sepupu juga ngikut. Mungkin terlihat sangat romantis harmonis dan sedikit manjais ya bareng2 ke sekaten sekeluarga (ya boleh lah dibilang begitu), tapi alasannya kenapa harus dianter adalah:
- pertama: aku pengen banget ke sekaten karena dari awal sekaten tahun ini belum pernah kesana, ditambah lagi pas sakit mata kemaren bertekad pokoknya kalo sembuh ntar mau ke sekaten(childish part I)
- kedua: sebelum sakit udah sempet ngajak temen2, tapi mungkin karena sibuk dan waktunya susah menyesuaikan, alhasil gak jadi, dan beberapa sudah ada yang ke sekaten entah bersama pacarnya atau tetangganya atau anaknya (anak??wow!)
- ketiga: babe tidak membolehkan kalo nanti aku pulang sampe malem, alhasil ya mending dianter (yunomaifadersowellah)
- keempat: bulik saya yg satu itu antusias mo ke sekaten (meski hanya untuk beli martabak atau apalah), dan akhirnya bulik ikutan memprovokatori babe supaya mau nganter.

Ya itu beberapa alasan yang sedikit masuk akal dan banyak tidak masuk akal. Yang penting sampailah saya nonton sekaten impian (childish part II,,ckck..). Meski di sekaten sempat ada salah paham dan kebingungan dengan duo wulan dan coco karena setengah 9 aku baru nyampe, dan mereka sudah mau pulang, akhirnya gak ketemu di lokasi.

Dan inilah kronologinya: dari setengah 9 sampe setengah 10 aku bersama sepupu, sebut saja marni atau marno, berkeliling ke wahana permainan dan awul2. Sementara itu, nyak, babe, mbak, bulik nunggu di daerah martabak2 gitu sambil ngeronde. Dan yasudah, jam 10 kurang sudah balik ke parkiran (parkirnya lumayan jauh, di parkiran depan BI,heuuu).

bianglala/dremolem/kincir saat sekaten merupakan pemandangan yg wow bagiku saat malam hari, sukak lampunya yg warna warni itu. Dan yap, aku sama marno naik ni dolanan, rasanya cukup ngeri terombang ambing di dalam kurungan dengan ketinggian sebegitu tingginya. Tapi seneng bisa liat pemandangan sekaten dari atas. (Cukup bayar 10 ribu saja buat berdua)

wahana lain: ombak asmara, bom bom car, mancing ikan buat anak-anak, serta awul2. selain itu juga ada kura-kura/kapal columbus (rrr...why don't they use more catchy name??), komidi putar, rumah hantu, jet coaster, dll. Saya cuma berani naek dremolem, hoho..




pura-puranya sih buat mancing mania gitu, tapi ala anak-anak lhoo,,palsu semua tuh ikannya.

interconnection #1

The title above is related to an indie music concert which will be held this weekend in Jogja. And guess who will rawk the stage??!!

Yap,,"Bangkutaman" merupakan salah satu penampil yg paling ditunggu. Secara aq juga pengen nonton,,huhuhu......tapi...(kenapa selalu ada tapi??,,ngook)

Selain Bangkutaman, 2 band indie lainnya yaitu "Leonardo" and "L’alphalpha" juga bakal tampil di tur Interconnection #1 di kota Jogja ini (21 januari 2012 @Purna Budaya UGM). Ada band indie Jogja juga yg bakal tampil yaitu "Answer Sheet" dan "Brilliant at Breakfast" (FYI, harga tiket 10rbu presale n 15rbu on d spot).
Sedangkan Interconnnection #2 akan berlangsung di solo 22 januari yang diisi oleh Leonardo, L’Alphalpha, Dried Cassava, The Leons Labyrinth, dan Sua.

Band yang udah gak asing di pendengaranku ya tentu saja Bangkutaman,,'catch me when I fall'-nya itu lhoo,,,nyentuh bget,,halah.
Moreover, the song (catch me when I fall) is the most fav song based on SEA INDIE version.

the worst

I've been trying so hard,,
Unfortunately I can't stop this fear.
Fear of my own shadow from nowhere, fear of wondering, fear of making mistakes, fear of not being able to give the best, fear of losing the best, fear of anything with no reasons.
It's sickness, yes it is. Kinda an odd anxiety that leads to paranoid thoughts.
I wished I could solve this by having you, but I couldn't. Not yet, not this time.
Sorry for not giving my best, sorry for treating you badly, sorry.
You're the best. And I'm the worst.
If we have a chance, I hope to give you clarity in the future

It's been so long when I first heard this song. Dealing with many unpredictable days, I'm getting so moooody to do the post especially about this band.

Generationals,,sounds a lil bit weird,,tapi sebenere lagu-lagunya asik buat didenger. Indie-pop band ini berasal dari New Orleans (ngendi kui??)yang lagunya pertama kali aq denger titled 'Either way' (most fav) sbg OST movie 'Going the Distance'(FYI,,ni filmnya juga baguss lho).

Beberapa track yg aq suka :
